Thin metal with embossed depictions of different scenes including, men sitting in chairs in 1700s attire, someone playing an instrument, and more. The lid still snaps on tightly and inside are remnants from what seems to be a very, very old newspaper. The detail of the depictions on the body of the container are exquisite, even showing a feather being worn in a man's hat. The lid embossing is little more worn, only revealing the raised outline of the scene. 3.75" tall, nearly 7" long, 4.15" across. An authentic antique believed to be from the 1800s.
